Disney's Mickey Mint Lanyard Pin Series
On May 2, 2008, Disney released a set of Disney Dollar Pins known as the "Mickey Mint" series at
Disneyland. The pins were later released at Disney World on May 6, 2008. Designed to resemble
United States currency and featuring historical figures, they were part of an open edition. At the time
of release, each pin retailed for $6.95 and was available for purchase at both Disney World and
Disneyland.
Similar to U.S. currency, the collection included denominations of $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100.
Each denomination was represented by a specific Disney character, portrayed in the likeness of a
U.S. president or other historical figures. All bills featured Scrooge McDuck's signature.
