Disney did not release new Disney Dollars in 1992. However, in 1993, a new style of the $1 Disney Dollar was introduced in celebration of Mickey Mouse's 65th birthday. This vibrant design revitalized the older style with its lively colors. Unfortunately, Disney did not produce matching $5 and $10 bills, which retained their previous designs. Additionally, the wording on the bill was updated. The original disclaimer statement was changed to: "May be used as legal tender only at Disneyland Park, Disneyland Hotel, Walt Disney World Resort, and The Disney Store (U.S.A. & Puerto Rico)."First Day Issue - January 25, 1993
