2008 Disney Dollars

2008 marked the 80th anniversary of Mickey Mouse, celebrating his journey from 1928 to 2008. Each Disney Dollar issued that year represents a different iconic year in Mickey’s history. These bills were meticulously designed by Charles Boyer, the artist behind the 2005 $50 Boyer Disney Dollars. The obverse side of the bills portrays three distinct eras of Mickey Mouse—1928, 1955, and 2008—capturing his evolution through the decades. Notably, this was the first year that Mickey Mouse appeared on all denominations of Disney Dollars.
