After years of speculation and rumors that Disney Dollars had been discontinued, Disney released four new $1 designs in 2013, celebrating both Villains and Heroes. This series featured a limited print run with six-digit serial numbers. The designs included characters from The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty, and 101 Dalmatians.Additionally, Disney Dollars were no longer available in a Disney Store version.Notably, 2013 marked the first time in Disney Dollars' history that a bill was officially released with an error. On the reverse of the Cruella de Vil Disney Dollar, the word "Dalmatians" was misspelled as "Dalmations." As a result, these bills were pulled from circulation.First Day Issue - January 1, 2013
