2007 Disney Dollars
Happy 20th Anniversary, Disney Dollars! In 2007, these iconic bills celebrated their milestone year with exciting updates.
The standard designs featured three Disney Princesses, marking the first time that Mickey, Goofy, and Donald—Disney's
Signature characters—did not appear. This year also marked Cinderella’s second appearance on the bills.
The reverse side received a design update as well, removing Tinker Bell's iconic depiction and replacing it with a spiral
design. The reverse side of the bill includes the statement “DisneyParks - Where Dreams come true!” which is related to the
theme of “Year of a Million Dreams” which ran from late to 2006 to 2008.
Additionally, Disney introduced three new Disney Dollars inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean movies: Curse of the Black
Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, and At World's End. Each bill displays images from the movie in the background, Including a map,
The Kraken, or the sails of the Empress.
A fourth Pirates of the Caribbean Disney Dollar was later released in 2011. As part of the celebration, Disney also unveiled a
special 20th Anniversary Pin—be sure to check it out!
