Limited Edition “2008”

Silver Disney Dollar

Originally released in 2019, this collectible was available at both The Art of Disney in EPCOT and the Main Street Cinema in Magic Kingdom. It was a limited edition of 5,000 pieces sold by the Walt Disney Company. The silver “bill” is a replica of the 2008 $1 Disney Dollar, commemorating 80 years of Mickey Mouse. Both sides of the original bill have been faithfully reproduced. It retailed for $150 USD and includes a Certificate of Verification (authenticity). The front of the certificate displays the front of the 2008 $1 Disney Dollar “T” version, while the reverse side features a statement reading: “This Limited Edition Minted Disney Dollar is plated with fine silver and selectively highlighted with color.” The Silver Disney Dollar replica comes in a plastic protective case inside of clamshell case.
